Martha & John L. Diving, Malaysia Overview
I just wanted to take some time to let you know how the trip went for our group and to thank you for all of your time and efforts! Of course travel in both directions was exhausting but that was expected. The resort was simply breath-taking! To be in the middle of the Celebes Sea, surrounded by the gorgeous water, in exotic “chalets”, along with the lush and colorful flowers and tropical plants was more than we had even imagined!!! The entire staff was so friendly and helpful. We were the only Americans there and they made sure our table was reserved for us each day and spoiled us with special treats during the meals. The meals were good and certainly geared toward the Asian population, but I think we all found things that we really enjoyed. Believe me, no one went hungry :*) The Dive Operation was top notch!!! We had a crew of two Dive Masters, boat captain and one additional to help with tanks, equipment, etc. All were so professional and very helpful. Once we took our gear down, they really took care of it from then on. It was on the boats in the morning, after diving they would rinse everything (except our boots and wetsuits, which we took care of ourselves) and put them back in the individual crates and hung the BCs. The diving was truly amazing and everything that I had on my “bucket list” to see…….I saw! At least once! Sipadan Island was without a doubt the most spectacular diving! Ten divers with two dive masters is ideal and something we don’t often experience. They both did an excellent job finding the marine life and keeping us safe. We all couldn’t be more pleased with how attentive, friendly and very professional they all were!!! It was truly a “Trip of a Lifetime” and we are so glad we took the journey. Thank you for all you did for us!!!
