Maitai Rangiroa is located on the primary island of Tahiti's Rangiroa Atoll, just minutes from the airport and centrally located between the famous dive sites of Tiputa and Avatur Passes. The resort includes a collection of 38 garden and oceanfront bungalows are set among a coconut grove on the shores of the inner lagoon. Each spacious private bungalow showcases traditional Polynesian architecture and makes use of woven bamboo, exotic woods, coconut thatch and other locally-scoured natural materials. Amenities include private patios, ceiling fans and air conditioning, internet access and direct international phone service, in-room mini-bars and television. The resort includes a waterfront pool, beach bar and a lagoon-view restaurant lagoon-view restaurant serving fresh seafood and Tahititian and French specialties. Dive trips to sites within the lagoon and to the passes for drift diving encounters with dolphins, manta rays and sharks.
