Barbados Information

Barbados delivers a relaxed and rewarding take on dive vacations. Sites on the island's western shore offer a bounty of easily-accessed reefs and wrecks set at moderate depths in clear Caribbean water. The island's most popular underwater attractions are found in Carlisle Bay Marine Park, where a collection of six shipwrecks sit a depth of 60 feet, with some rising to snorkeling depths. The bay is also home to a large population of green and hawksbill sea turtles,. Beyond the Bay, divers can explore miles of mid-depth coral reefs, discover dozens more shipwrecks, and visit fish-attracting pinnacles. There are surf washed beaches to the east, lavish botanical gardens and glittering show cases in the highlands, and a historic capital that mixes British heritage with Caribbean flair.
