Cozumel Information

Cozumel diving is all about going with the flow. The island's sheltered western shore is bathed in a steady northward flow of clear Caribbean water. This life-giving current nurtures luxuriant growths of sponges and corals that cover the ledges, ridges and drop offs, and supports an underwater menagerie of fish and invertebrates. These same moving waters propel divers on exhilarating but controlled drifts, creating flight-like experiences as they soar over fish-covered shallow reefs and along cavern-riddled coral buttresses set on the edge of deep water. Adding to the appeal are direct flights from the US, a wide range of beachfront hotels with on-site dive services, and a fleet of dive boats that make easy runs in calm waters to sites less than a mile from shore.
